Sussudio Big Band

Sussudio Big Band was formed in 2003 as an outlet for talented young musicians to perform jazz as an extension to their music performance at school. Since then the band has gone from strength to strength, performing at world class jazz festivals in Sydney, recording an album at Fox Studios and performing at various corporate functions and events.

The band is now comprised of a mix of excellent student players and young professionals and plays big band music of an extremely high calibre, providing a polished and professional performance every time. From 1940's Glenn Miller swing to Count Basie and Duke Ellington, to Buddy Rich and on to some of the funkiest modern charts available- the band has a huge repertoire that is always able to please every crowd.
